Record and track foosball matches with automatic Elo calculations
Match Tracking is the heart of Foosball Arena. Record your foosball matches with precision, and let the system automatically calculate Elo ratingsa and update leaderboards and statistics in real-time. Whether you're playing 1v1 singles or 2v2 doubles, every match counts.
Match Types
Foosball Arena supports two match types:
- 1v1 Matches: Singles matches between two individual players. Perfect for head-to-head competition.
- 2v2 Matches: Doubles matches between two teams of two players each. Great for team-based competition and building partnerships.
How to Submit a Match
Step 1: Click "Submit a match"
Click the "Submit a match" button in the navigation bar, or go to your club or season and click Submit a match.
Step 2: Select the season
Choose the season in which to add the match.
Step 3: Choose the match type
Select 1v1 or 2v2 depending on your match (if the season allows both).
Step 4: Select the players
Choose the players for the winning and losing teams. For 2v2, select two players for each team.
Step 5: Enter the scores
Enter the final score for each team. The winning score must be higher than the losing score.
Step 6: Submit
Click submit and watch the rankings and statistics update instantly!
Accessing Match History
View all recorded matches from the season page. Match history features:
- Infinite scroll loading with 20 matches per page
- Filter by match type (All, 1v1, or 2v2)
- Color-coded cards: green border for wins, red for losses
- Full details including teams, scores, Elo changes, and timestamps
Tip: Club admins can delete matches if errors occur, Elo ratings are automatically recalculated on deletion.
Validation Rules
Keep these rules in mind when submitting matches:
- Scores must be between 0 and 100
- Winning score must be strictly greater than losing score
- The same player cannot appear on both teams
- All players must be participants in the active season
- Match type must be allowed by the season configuration
